Another update from Bill Friedrich:

The Peotone Fire Protection District has recently added two new units to their fleet. The first is Squad 10, which was previously stationed with the Normal Fire Department. Now re-lettered and fully operational for Peotone, this 1980 Seagrave features an RPI conversion, a 1,250-GPM pump, 300 gallons of water, and a 50-foot snorkel. It's a solid upgrade that enhances the department’s ability to handle large-scale incidents.

In addition, Brush 14 was officially put into service back in 2011. This unit was built using parts from their old brush truck, showcasing the department's resourcefulness and commitment to maintaining a strong fire response capability. The rig is based on a 2011 Ford F-550 chassis and includes a 125-GPM pump, 250 gallons of water, and a 20-gallon foam system. It's a versatile tool for wildland firefighting and off-road operations.
