Former Truck 1’s old Hendrickson/Pierce/Morita 135′, after the "elevator" was removed. This was one of the early high-rise units in the department and was later replaced by newer models.
Former Truck 5 – 1972 Mack/Pirsch. This unit was known for its durability and served the city for many years before being retired.
Former Truck 12 – 1982 Hendrickson/E-One 100′. A classic piece of firefighting history, this ladder truck was used for multiple decades before being phased out.
Former Truck 16’s 1978 Seagrave 100′. One of the iconic rear-mount aerials that once roamed the streets of Chicago.
Former Truck 19 – 1988 E-One/Federal 110′. This unit was part of a modernization effort in the late '80s and saw extensive use in the city.
Former Truck 24’s 1970 Seagrave, refurbished in 1990. A rare example of an older unit that was brought back to life through restoration efforts.
Former Truck 42 – 1982 E-One/Hendrickson. Another well-known piece of CFD history, this truck was in service for many years before being replaced.
