Northbrook firefighters were called to a collision at the intersection of Dundee and Waukegan Roads on Saturday afternoon, May 21, 2016. A car and a motorcycle were involved in the crash, which resulted in the motorcyclist being thrown through the windshield of the vehicle. Emergency responders quickly arrived on the scene and worked to free the injured rider from the damaged car. The motorcyclist was conscious and responsive when he was carefully removed and transported by ambulance to Lutheran General Hospital for further evaluation.
