**1. Introduction**
The Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) machine is manufactured by our factory and is primarily used for solid-liquid and liquid-liquid separation. The flotation system generates a large number of tiny bubbles through the dissolved gas and release system in water. These bubbles help reduce the density of suspended solids or other particles, making them float to the surface. This process enables effective separation of solids from liquids, improving the quality of treated water.
**2. Working Principle**
Air is compressed and sent into an air tank, then drawn into a dissolved air tank via a jet flow device. Under a pressure of 0.35 MPa, the air dissolves into the water, forming dissolved air water. This mixture is then sent to the flotation tank. When the pressure is suddenly released, the dissolved air forms a large number of microbubbles. These microbubbles come into contact with flocculated suspended matter in the wastewater. As the bubbles attach to the particles, they become less dense and rise to the surface, allowing for efficient removal of suspended solids (SS) and chemical oxygen demand (CODcr), among other contaminants.

1) The dissolved air pump has an edge-suction design that efficiently mixes gas and liquid, creating bubbles smaller than 30 microns.
2) Operates at low voltage with a dissolved gas efficiency of up to 99% and a release rate of up to 99%.
3) Efficient adsorption between tiny bubbles and suspended particles improves the removal of SS.
4) Dissolved air water has a dissolving efficiency of 80–100%, which is three times more efficient than traditional systems.
5) Smooth pressure-capacity curve allows for easy automation, simple operation, and low maintenance, as well as reduced noise levels.
**4. Main Structure**
1) The air flotation machine is made of steel and serves as the core of the DAF system. It includes a release unit, uniform distribution device, sewage pipe, outlet pipe, sludge tank, and scraper system.
- The release unit is located at the center and produces microbubbles by mixing dissolved air water with sewage under sudden pressure release. This creates a vortex that helps form microbubbles of 20–50 microns. These bubbles attach to flocculated particles, causing them to float to the surface.
- The outlet pipe distributes water evenly from the bottom, connected to a vertical main pipe that leads to the overflow. A water level control handle allows for easy adjustment.
- The discharge pipe at the bottom removes sediment, while the sludge tank collects and continuously scrapes floating sludge into the sludge pond.
2) The dissolved air system consists of a dissolved air tank, air storage tank, air compressor, and high-pressure pump. The dissolved air tank is crucial for ensuring full contact between air and water, accelerating dissolution. It is constructed with baffles and sleeves to increase the speed of air and water, enhancing the efficiency of the process.
3) The chemical dosing system is a steel cylindrical tank used for dissolving and storing liquid chemicals.
