In the NAFTA market consisting of the United States, Canada and Mexico, Mercedes-Benz sold 29,219 units in February, the same as the best in February, an increase of 8.8%. From the perspective of the model, the new-generation E-class continued its outstanding performance in January (29,963 units). In February, it continued to grow by more than 70% year-on-year. The global sales volume was 23,626 units, with the largest contributions coming from China, Germany and the United States. In particular, with the launch of BMW's next-generation 5 Series in June, the E-class will gradually increase in China, and the market potential will gradually be released.
The C-Class continued to perform well and became the best-selling model in February, with sales of cars and station wagons reaching 29,000 units, an increase of 3.9%. Thanks to the strong demand for the long-wheelbase version in the Chinese market, the car has the best month in the Asia Pacific region.
In addition, the SUV family continues to perform well on a global scale, with 52,503 units sold worldwide in February, up 14.9% year-on-year. Next, the revised GLA will further promote the sales of the SUV family this year.
