The power of natural gas engines and traditional diesel engines developed by FAW Xichai is almost the same, and pollutant emissions can be reduced by about 40%, which can effectively protect the urban environment. Compared with gasoline and diesel, natural gas also has a price advantage, which can greatly save bus operating costs. At present, natural gas engines have successfully entered the bus markets in Chengdu, Shijiazhuang and Changzhou. Yutong buses, FAW buses and other mainstream automobile manufacturers have also started to use Xichai natural gas engines as one of the main engines.
