The instrument factories in other cities are also a single product, such as the production of temperature meters for the Feixi Instrument Factory, the display meters for the Anqing Thermal Instrument Factory, and the pressure meters for the Maanshan Instrument Factory.

Hefei Instrument Factory is the leader among them. According to the old workers' memories, in 1960, an overseas Chinese engineer returned from Indonesia and was named Huang Yuda. He has contacted Japan and West Germany's advanced instrumentation products abroad. A few years later, oval gear flowmeters were exported to more than 20 countries including Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America.
