A few days ago, at the first China Electric Vehicle Centennial Forum, Miao Wei proposed "to pay attention to the development of smart cars." Previously, An Zhenpeng, deputy director of the Department of Electronic Information of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said: " Looking forward to the next 30 years, the automotive industry will be revolutionary in terms of product form, function positioning, use, or in the composition of the industry chain, business model and competition. Change; and two important evolutionary directions that have emerged from this change are new energy and intelligence."
Although the car is entering a new era of intelligence, from smart wipers to smart cars, it has emerged: At the 2015 CES show, the Mercedes-Benz Group released the auto-driving “F 015 Luxury in Motion”; Volkswagen The group unveiled the Golf R Touch concept car to showcase new in-vehicle information technology; Audi's driverless car, which departed from the Silicon Valley of the United States for 560 miles, drove directly to the CES site without human intervention. But in the Chinese market, smart cars are far from spring, and smart cars are far from being as widely concerned as new energy vehicles.
Compared with the new energy vehicles that are favored by the policy, China's smart cars are characterized by corporate heat and government cold. The competent authorities did not pay much attention to smart cars when formulating relevant policies. An Zhenpeng once said: "In particular, compared with the introduction of a series of plans and policies for new energy vehicles, there are relatively few layouts for smart cars. At present, the understanding of smart cars is still based on existing product concepts, models and technologies. The system only pays attention to a certain link or component of the car, but does not observe and recognize from the perspective of the intelligent evolution of the whole car. Learning from the development history of the mobile phone, the smart car is completely different from the development stage of the functional car, and may be new. Comprehensive changes have been made in the industrial chain, new competitive entities, new business models, and new legal policies."
Facing the smart car that is just getting started. Miao Wei said that at present, the technology accumulation of smart cars in Chinese enterprises is still insufficient, the development of key technologies is lagging behind, and the cultivation of market and the construction of supporting facilities cannot meet the development needs of intelligent networked vehicles. At the same time, effective coordination mechanisms and a complete industrial chain have not yet been formed between government management departments, vehicle manufacturers, IT companies and consumers.
Although smart cars are regarded as the window period for Chinese auto companies to create catch-ups, the development of smart cars still needs to overcome many difficulties. First, it is necessary to establish a forward-looking smart car strategic plan to judge the development trend of smart cars in the next five to ten years. Because whether it is a complete vehicle, a component company or a chip company, it takes two to three years or even longer to develop new products. Second, in addition to policy support, it is becoming more and more important for smart car products to return to their original heart. An Zhenpeng pointed out: "From the intelligence of the car itself as the origin of the discussion, on the basis of the development trend of smart cars, we will explore new technologies, new products and new formats related to smart cars related networks and services."
