Main steps of underground mining

Underground mining is mainly achieved through four steps: mineral deposit development, mining block mining, cutting and mining.

Mineral deposit

The development of the deposit is based on the occurrence conditions of the deposit and the occurrence of the ore body. Different deposit development methods are adopted to facilitate transportation, pedestrians, ventilation and drainage.

Picking

The mining work of the nuggets refers to the tunneling of a series of roadways according to the predetermined plan and drawings, thus creating the necessary conditions for the cutting and mining of the nuggets.

Cutting

On the basis of the mining work, the ore cutters open up the free surface and the falling space for the mining ore, thus creating the necessary working conditions for the mining of the ore.

Mining

Mining is the process of mining ore from the ore and is the core of mining. Mining usually consists of three types of work:

Falling ore: the operation of removing ore from the ore body with a suitable block size;

Mining: the operation of transporting the collected ore from the mining face to the stage transportation level;
