Recently, Namura Shipbuilding of Japan launched a new 82,000 DWT class Panamax bulk carrier with improved fuel efficiency and started marketing activities.
In February last year, under the upward trend of Eco ship demand, the shipyard and Hakodate Dock jointly developed the first Eco 34,000 DWT class bulk carrier, and then redeveloped the captain with a width of 229 meters and 32.26 meters respectively. An 82,000 DWT class environmentally friendly vessel with a water intake of 14.45 meters.
Namura Shipbuilding has launched a new product about 10 years later. The recently developed ship has optimized the design of the hull. It is also equipped with an electronically controlled main engine, high-efficiency propeller, etc., and its daily average fuel consumption is 77,000 DWT. Ships can save about 20% (26.7 tons). The new product target will be delivered starting in April 2016.
In addition, Namura Shipbuilding has continuously built large-scale ships in recent days, but the demand for large container ships is estimated to be temporarily declining. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen marketing activities in the field of small and medium-sized bulk carriers that can replace them.
