Hey everyone,
I just got back from checking out the new Tower 1 in Arlington Heights. Larry Shapiro was kind enough to swing by and snap some awesome photos of the latest addition to their fleet. This beauty is a 2014 Pierce Dash CF PUC 1500/300, with job number 27342. As far as I know, it’s the very first Dash CF PUC tower ladder ever made—Niles might have something similar in the works, but this one takes the lead.
Here’s what caught my eye: the pump panel is cleverly tucked away behind a roll-up door, which gives it a sleek look while keeping everything protected. Another thing that stood out was the color scheme—it’s the first time Arlington Heights has gone with the classic black-over-red Chicago-style livery. Talk about making a statement!
