Here's a report from Eric Haak:

The outbound lanes of the Bishop Ford Freeway (I-94) were closed for nearly three hours at 137th Street after a semi-truck crashed into the median, causing damage to the saddle tank. Another vehicle was also involved in the incident. The crash occurred on the incline just before the Steel Bridge, which led to diesel fuel spilling downhill toward the shoulder. Fire crews quickly responded, with Engine 80 and Truck 62 arriving first and starting to contain the spill by laying down a line. Engine 75 took position on the off-ramp leading to Beaubien Woods and deployed a second line to help manage the situation. The accident happened around 4:55 PM, and emergency crews remained on the scene until 7:45 PM when the State Police finally reopened the expressway. The cleanup took time due to the challenging terrain and the need to prevent further environmental impact.
