The foam is made primarily from carbon dioxide, turning a harmful greenhouse gas into a valuable resource. As Dr. Liu Baohua from the Guangzhou Institute of Chemistry explained, "This polyurethane foam can be completely biodegradable. Using carbon dioxide in this way not only reduces waste but also helps solve the global problem of 'white pollution.'"
